Danielle Nicolet has been around for quite a while, you might be familiar with her from things such as Heartland or The Starter Wife but her career started in the early nineties in Family Matters. Since then all her roles took her one step further in developing her abilities. Today she is about to show us how well she does in Red  Faction, a new SyFy channel pilot based on the game with the same name. But have no fear, we’re all invited whether we know the game or not. We had the opportunity to interview Danielle and this is what she had to say related to the premiere of the show and her future plans. 1. Your acting has been extremely versatile – drama, comedy, fantasy and sci-fi. but this will be the first video game adaptation you do.Gamers are notorious for their attitude towards TV or movie adaptations of their favourites. Are you in any way afraid of how it will be received? I am a little bit anxious about the gamers. We really wanted to provide the existing fans a movie that would enhance their gaming experience. Origins makes it more personal, gives them some history and [...]

Now, there might be some of you who have no clue who John Barrowman is. If this is the case you must go out into the interweb and find yourself a place to watch him sing, act and be generally awesome. It’s not hard to do and it’s definitely worth it. To make your life easier you can do all that right here. I have to admit I had no clue who he was either until one day, some five years ago, when I tuned it as usual to watch Doctor Who (don’t knock it till you’ve tried it). John Barrowman was born in Scotland, on March 11th 1967. Despite having moved with his family to the United States at quite a young age he can still kick ass with a Scottish accent that really makes fan-girls and fan-boys alike squee with delight. For most people he is known as Jack Harkness, the immortal omnisexual time traveler of the Doctor Who and Torchwood fame. However [...]

Curious Sisyphean New York music/lit/aimless gym bunny type. Also weatherman. His words, not mine! I’ve been trying to find the proper words to write an article about Murray Gold for quite a while now. Kept telling him, I’m going to write about you on my site, but inspiration failed me. I was advised to write about his love of pickles and cheese, his music, his love for Doctor Who, but quite frankly I was still stumped. So, I will just keep on typing and que sera, sera. Now, Murray Gold – for those of you who don’t know who he is – has been the creator of Doctor Who’s soundtrack for the past incarnations of the character. Truth be told, he has created music for several other shows, but when I think Murray Gold Doctor Who comes to mind, that and Veronika decides to die. Could be because I am deprived as far as music goes. When I first started following him on Twitter I had no idea who he was. Murray Gold rang no bells in my mind. I kept chatting with him, until one day a friend looked at me with a shocked expression – “You don’t know [...]
